Lara Grauer leaves no detail forgotten. Your pet portraits are too important to only get digital images. You want pictures that will last a lifetime – and that won’t get lost in your disorganized computer files or buried in your social media feed. Your sweet little fur baby deserves better than that.

Your pet portraits need to be printed so you can see them whenever the mood strikes. That’s why Seattle Photographer Lara Grauer includes printed pieces with every shot you purchase of your pet.

Meaningful Art

Lara’s fresh & modern style means you’ll get awesome art that just happens to feature your pet. What do you love the most about your dog? How does your cat make you smile? Let’s capture that for your home.

Special Memories

Your Lara Grauer Photography portrait experience will be memorable in itself. It’s not just about recording how beautiful your pet is – it’s about creating special moments that you get to re-live each time you see your pictures.

Peace of Mind

Each time you update your portraits, experience the peace of mind that comes from knowing you’ll never forget the little things. Whether it’s your cat’s heart-shaped spot or your dog’s ear that points sideways, you’ll be glad you have these photos to remember them by.

How the Process Works

Do photos stress you out?

Many people hate having photos taken, and really it’s no wonder. You have to take time out of your schedule, guess about the things you might need to get through in one piece, make sure everyone stays calm, come up with a look for the shoot, and then make sure everything goes perfectly! Who wouldn’t be stressed out?

It’s not your job to be the photography expert! Of course you don’t know how to prepare for something like this. It’s your photographer who should lead the way.

That’s why Lara Grauer Photography has developed an efficient and playful 3-step photography process that countless clients have deemed “fun!”

Here’s how it works: First, you’ll have a comprehensive design & planning consultation with Seattle Photographer Lara Grauer. You’ll decide on a vision for your finished portraits and create a plan so it can happen. Next up is your fun and fearless photoshoot! Your time in front of the camera will unfold in accordance with your vision – outfit changes and lots of poses may be appropriate – or perhaps you’re going for one awesome statement piece which will make your session short and sweet. Lara will make sure you know what to expect before the big day.

After your photoshoot, you’ll meet with Lara to select the best photos and make the final decisions for your artwork order. When that’s all done, all that’s left to do is wait…! When your custom art is ready, complimentary delivery and installation will finish off your experience.

Vision & Design

To get started on a journey, you need to know where you’re going. You’ll start with a consultation to explore the possibilities and create a plan for making your vision a reality. Lara Grauer will guide you through the design process so you can envision the final result you’re aiming for.

Photoshoot

Your photoshoot will start with settling in and getting comfortable, then move on to time in front of the camera. Whether it’s just you and your pet, or you’re bringing other people along, you’ll enjoy cold refreshments, invigorating music, goofy jokes, and clear posing directions. Great photos and fun memories will be the result.

View & Order

Step 3 is viewing your portraits with guidance from Lara Grauer Photography. Your time together will be spent picking out favorites and finalizing design options for your finished albums and wall art. Our unique design software shows you everything as it will appear when it’s done, so you’ll know you love it before you say “yes.”

Image Style Choices

What Image Style Suits Your Home?

Your pet photography will look best when you choose a style that suits your taste. Does your home’s interior have a traditional feel? Maybe a Mixed Media portrait will work well. Are you more eclectic in your style? Contemporary Color might be the best way to go. If you have a more modern design, Classic Black & White could really enhance the mood. Plan ahead and you’ll get portraits you can enjoy for many years to come. At your consultation, you’ll get guidance on selecting wardrobe choices that complement your portrait style.

A Statement Piece is a single large portrait that holds a wall on its own. This is a special portrait that can set the mood for your space. The Statement Piece is commonly reserved for a place of honor above a fireplace, sofa, or other prominent location.

Companion Piece

Companion Wall Art Pieces compliment each other so when they are hung throughout a space they create a cohesive design. Repetition of style and color can be a strong artistic component to a beautiful interior, and that is what Companion Art Pieces can do for your home.
