Just before Christmas, Jay contacted us about getting portraits with Finn, his three month old corgi pup. His goal? To celebrate puppy’s first Christmas with something humorous and fun. He specifically requested a 1980’s retro feel that was understated and sarcastic so he would smile every time he saw the photos. We were excited to make that happen, and elated how the shoot turned out.
Finn hadn’t had all his shots yet, and was in early days of training. As such, he was used to going on a pad inside. We were legitimately concerned by the way he was sniffing around that he was trying to find the best place in our studio to relieve himself, but luckily he did not.
Finn was so young that his right ear was not yet strong enough to stand up straight – a perfect time to capture the cute memory in portraits.
