Category / Behind The Reflector
If every photo is worth a thousand words, easily 900 of those words are about what’s happening outside of the frame. Behind The Reflector tells that story. Art – The World’s Greatest Photographer’s Assistant – shows you how Lara creates her work. He discusses the gear, the lights, the weather, the traffic, and all the contorted positions it takes to get great photos.
“It’s kind of like cinema verite but for photography. I’m sure there’s a fancy French term for it, but I do not know what that term is,” says Art, who finds it weird to quote himself in the third person while typing.
