This is our archive of posts about our adventures in Seattle photography. We moved to Seattle in 2008 and Seattle photography is what we do. Seattle is the ever-present backdrop in every photograph that we create. Since we mostly shoot on location, the weather plays a huge role. In some of our shots, the session is outside in the middle of winter, sometimes in the rain, which can make things challenging. But compared to shooting outside in Chicago in winter, it’s a piece of cake.

Mostly we shoot from downtown Seattle, East to Bellevue, WA, then North up into Edmunds and Everett, but we’ll go wherever the interesting projects take us. Sometimes you’ll even find us out on the islands for sessions. We’ll pull out our cameras while we ride the ferry just in case we can snap a photo of a passing orca.
